I’m a thirty-something designer/almost-architect in the Bay Area, CA. More often than not, you can find me daydreaming about leaving the path prescribed to me by CAB, AIA, and NCARB, and striking out on my own in a jack-of-all-trades design career. I also daydream about moving back to the Southeast and becoming a well-regarded architect of sustainable single-family homes. That daydream I’m actually pursuing.
Frank Harmon, Michelle Kaufmann, Carlo Scarpa, Clark & Menefee, and the anonymous architects of Andalusia have all left a mark on my thought processes.
To you much has been given. Of you much is expected.
